Orders & publishing process

From the cart to a live link: every order status explained, and what you can do at each step.

This guide is not available in your language yet. Showing the English version.

Write a briefing the publisher can act on

The briefing is the only instruction the publisher gets. Include:

  • Target URL: the exact page the link must point to.
  • Anchor text: the words that carry the link (see the Links, anchors & content guide).
  • Angle and topic: what the article should talk about, key messages, tone.
  • Constraints: words to avoid, competitors not to mention, deadlines.
  • Assets: links to images, a brand name spelling, a company description.

If you want to supply the article yourself, say so in the briefing. Otherwise the publisher writes it from your brief.

How long does it take?

Each listing shows its own delivery time, counted from the moment the publisher accepts your brief. It is typically several days, and longer for premium titles. Delivery time is a commitment of the publisher, not an exact date, as some editorial calendars are slower.

You get an email when the delivery is ready to check, and your order page always shows the latest status.

Checking a delivery

When the order is Delivered, open the link and check:

  • The article is live and reachable without a login.
  • The link points to the right URL with the right anchor text.
  • The content matches your brief and is of the quality you paid for.
  • The link attributes match the listing (dofollow or not, labelled sponsored or not).

If everything is right, press Confirm delivery. If not, use Dispute (see the next guide).

Confirming is final: it releases the money to the publisher and the order can no longer be refunded. Don't confirm before you've opened the link.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel from My Orders only while the order is Pending, that is, before the publisher accepts. The full amount returns to your wallet immediately.

Once the publisher has started, the order can't be cancelled. If something goes wrong at that stage, the dispute process protects you.
